cant upgrade dsl - AT T Community Forums IF AT T would have built out Fiber To The Premises (FTTP) instead of copper based U Verse they might have a chance to gain potential customers, do you really believe that most customers are going to pay outrageous prices for something like Fixed LTE wireless internet service for the home?
INTERNET NOT AVAILABLE BUT NEIGHBORS HAVE IT? (CONTINUED) IN SUM, AT T DOES NOT MAINTAIN COPPER FIBER LINES BECAUSE IT'S INCREDIBLY EXPENSIVE YET YOU WON'T ADMIT THIS IT'S CHEAPER TO JOCKEY TOWERS AND NOT DEAL WITH CITIZENS THAT DEMAND REASONABLE COPPER FIBER MAINLINES LIKE MYSELF
How long before U-Verse Services in Houston are restored? No, I did not and I'm not sure that they would consider such a thing if they have to do it for every household with U-verse services in the Houston area They just keep telling me that services should be restored with 24 hours and that the technicians are working on it They won't say what the actual issue is that is causing the problem 0 0

The copper wire from your house needs to be connected to an open, available spot in that streetbox, which translates the signals to fiber optic cables If there's no open, available spot for the connection, you cannot get U-Verse because without that physical port, there's no place to connect your copper wires
Adding U-Verse to an already Wired Wireless Network Also how does the U-Verse connection come into the house? Coax, Fiber , or regular copper wire to an phone jack wall plate using a RJ11 or RJ45 connection to modem, i ask as i would have to pre-wire connection in house as crawl space is very small for most technicians sent out and all me equipment is already preset in a location Questions 137 1 0 0 Like Comment Follow Responses
